Beautiful Italian Cook and Eat

Course Duration 3.5 hrs which include:

·       Demonstration of the Menu by the chef

·       Preparation and cooking of each dish

Cooking

  • All participants will be given the opportunity to cook, under the chef’s direction.
  • Participants will be provided with knife kits, aprons and utilise commercial cooking equipment supplied by our industry sponsor Fagor.
  • The Fagor Cooking School is a $1,000,000.00 development of Hospitality Training Australia.

Recipe Pack

  • Each participant receives a recipe pack so they have all the information to prepare this meal at home for friends and family.

Chef Josef Hahn - Cooking Instructor

Josef began his cooking career from an early age after successfully graduating from one of the oldest Hotel Schools in Europe. His culinary studies were completed in Austria and Germany before setting out to further his passion for food in 4 and 5 star establishments working with high calibre Chefs in Zurich, Bolzano, Munich, London, Vienna, Prague and Minneapolis where Josef gained a wide verity of experience in positions from Commis de cuisine to Head Chef.

After 15 years of experience in various hospitality establishments across different continents, Josef made the move to Australia.

Five years ago he diversified his culinary passion by completing his Certificate IV in Training and Assessment to begin sharing his wealth of skills and knowledge with others.

Josef currently delivers nationally recognised training in Commercial Cookery, Patisserie and also works as a chef manager. His ability to create meals with a signature quality, simplicity and full of taste and enjoyment has found many satisfied and happy diners across the globe.

The following are sample items that may be prepared and cooked in the classes.

1.     Pasta Cabonara.

2.     Ricotta Ravioli with Butter & Sage Sauce.

3.     Italian Sweet Cous-Cous Dessert.
